The official **Carbone plugin** adds a no-code PDF generator to Bubble.io. Drop the Carbone action into any workflow, pass it your app's data, and return a finished document your users can download. You design the template in Word, Excel, or PowerPoint — Carbone merges the data and renders the file.

## A real document engine, not an HTML-to-PDF workaround

Most Bubble apps generate PDFs by screenshotting a page or converting HTML, which breaks on page breaks, can't produce editable DOCX or XLSX, and forces the layout to live inside your app.

The Carbone plugin renders from a real Office template instead.
