Where Carbone comes from
The idea was born in 2013, inside Ideolys, a software company for collective catering co-founded by David Grelaud.
Kitchens produce an extraordinary amount of paperwork: menus, orders, stock sheets, invoices. David built a tool to generate all of it automatically from templates.
After eight years of daily use, David, Guillaume Paquereau and Steeve Payraudeau turned that tool into Carbone.io, founded in Bellevigny, Vendée, in 2021.
