Carbone.io featured in Ouest-France: 2% of our revenue for education, the environment and free software
Ouest-France, the largest daily newspaper in France, has featured Carbone.io for a commitment we made on the day the company was founded: every year, 2% of our revenue goes to non-profit initiatives in education, the environment and free software.

Why 2%, and why these three
"From the creation of the company in 2021, our goal was to give back 2% of our revenue to support initiatives in education, the environment and free software," David Grelaud, co-founder, told Ouest-France.
Education, because the three of us learned our trade thanks to people who taught it well. The environment, because a company based in the Vendée countryside, working from home, owes something to the place it lives in.
Free software, because Carbone is built on it and its community edition is part of it: the creators of the open-source tools we rely on deserve more than a thank you in a changelog.
What the article also says
Carbone.io is run by David Grelaud, Guillaume Paquereau and Steeve Payraudeau, with Béatrice Grelaud also working at the company, all based in Bellevigny. The product simplifies the automatic generation of documents, from PDFs and labels to complex reports, for software vendors and integrators worldwide.
Thank you!
Our thanks to Patrick Guyomard and Ouest-France for covering the part of the company that does not show up in a benchmark.
